Last weekend Prashanthi and Vasu had arranged for a surprise baby shower for Veena. Prashanthi invited us in the pretext of Amma visiting their new house; I added some red herring too; Veena had no idea. Muthu, Usha, Vikash, Vishnu, Vel Raja, Vinodhini, Roopashree, Krishnan, Devi and Chini were there. It was good fun.

This year Srinidhi understood how to Trick-Or-Treat on Halloween. The weather was wonderful and we visited around dozen houses for Trick-Or-Treat. Chini was with us too. They both had good fun. Veena stayed home and took care of candy distribution to the visiting Trick-Or-Treaters.



One of the houses in our neighborhood does extensive decoration for Halloween with light, sound, smoke and mechanical effects. People from other areas visit here just to see this. One section of that. Unfortunately, this is the last year for them here. They are moving out of town soon.


Srinidhi was a Spiderman for last year's Halloween. I took him for Trick-Or-Treat. But he didn't like it much then. He just wanted to stay home and watch the kids in costume and give them candies.


This was the first Halloween. He was a bunny and played with the candies!

Well, my Thinkpad is the Ayutham that I depend on for my work and personal. I cannot survive half a day without it. So it got its due share of respect and treatment on the Ayuda Pooja couple of weeks back.

My mother came from India on the 27th eager to see the granddaughter as soon as she is born.
