It is a common knowledge that politicos will go to any extend to expand their domain and add to their power even if it infringes on individual liberties. Their basic instinct is they are on this earth to guide the masses since they know better. I consider myself informed and aware of most of their effort to do so on things that matter to me. From time to time, they surprise me with their ingenuity. Consider this; all along they had been controlling the alcohol content in the beer I drink! (and I did not even know that) Now they are considering to increase it to 15% (from 6%). How dare they to decide what is appropriate for me? I understand when they try to control how much alcohol is allowed in a person that is driving; because it exposes somebody other than that person to danger. But controlling how much alcohol is the right amount in a beer?? That is pure arrogance. To top that, they thought about grabbing some more of my money when they allow me to drink stronger beer! I am indignant.

Note : This is not about drinking, I do not drink much. I hardly buy a couple of six packs entire summer.

Note 2: May be I was drinking so little beer since they didn’t pack much punch :-). What’s the alcohol content of beers we had in India anyway??
