Amma decorating our house with a beautiful Kolam on the occasion of Srinidhi's naming ceremony May 11, 2003.

Sliding in the driveway.

We didn't get much, I wish we did. We got only half an inch. Veena is trying to make a tiny snowman or a snowball. Srinidhi liked to play with snowballs more than sliding.

Today is first snow day for the season. We dressed up Srinidhi 3 layers and took him out. He throughly enjoyed it. We were out for an hour.

As if I don't have enough pets (one wife, one son, two cats :))) I got Mr. T. That's the name Srinidhi gave (well actually, he called it T, I added Mr). Newest addition to our family. Mr T is doing well. We come to understand how to take care of him now. If everything goes well for a month or so, I am planning for an aquarium and few friends for Mr T.

This is our darling Roja, in her majestic throne. When I got her, she was six weeks old baby, still suckling from her mother Jasmine. Now Roja is three and half years old. I was travelling a lot those days; Veena was feeling lonely at home, eventhough she was still working. When I was chitchating with the barber lady, she mentioned about her cat. I immediately thought of adopting a cat to keep company for Veena. Barber lady said I can adopt from PetsMart. When we saw Roja at PetsMart, we immediately fell in love. We did not want to separate mother and such young cutie daughter, we got them both. Eventhough, Jasmine appeared reserved initially, she is such a fine cat. I will post her pics soon. Roja is very playful, but she just disappears from sight when anybody visits us. Jasmine is not like that. She is not much playful, but she hangs around.

Srinidhi loves flag. I took him to downtown labor day parade last year. He got a free flag there. I showed him how to wave. He loves to do it ever since. This is from yesterday.

Srinidhi loves to read. Veena and Srinidhi read for 30 minutes atleast twice a day.

Let us celebrate 2+ on PBC

Two

I had been worrying about my annual IBM evaluation rating called PBC. Mainly because I had been slacking on some aspects such as contributing my intellecutal capital to the database, eventhough, I had been contributing in other ways. I was worried about getting a three, which I never got in the past.

I saw my manager online and talked to him. Guess what, they recognised my contribution and I got a 2+. I am very happy.

Just in time to celebrate the news, Srinidhi was putting on a show with two lollypos.

Lot to catch up

OK, I have a lot (10 days) to catch up. I resolve to do it today.

Velraja, Vinodhini and Roopashree visited us today. Roopashree wants to be with Mom or dad only. She loves music and danced hearing Elmo song.
