There is a Velankanni Matha Shrine at National Cathedral, Washington, DC. We visited the Shrine on 2003 Oct 31 to fulfil Veena's pledge.

National Shrine, Washington DC. This picture does not do any justice to the magnificence of the Shrine, but this is the best I took. It is wonderfully architected with spacious prayer halls, Chapels and Shrines. There is a Shrine for Our Lady of Good Health (Velankanni Matha). Be sure to visit when you travel to DC.

Anxious

I am anxious about the upcoming trip to India. I need to take care of several things before we leave. I am also worried about travel and weather in India. It sure is going to be hot in April, 90-110 F. BUT, it is all worth it.
