Word for word, I agree with this article. It exactly states my thoughts on the Ganguly-Chappel row.

One of my Periyappas, Mani Periyappa, took us on the offer to visit the home where he was born. Last time he was here was eight years back. Conveniently, his youngest grandchild's mottai and kaathu kuthu was planned at our Kuladeivam temple during August. So periyappa and family and Sekar Anna and family and Nalini Akka and Nandini visited our home last month.

BTW, we had another round of consultation regarding the decision to demolish. I recently reestablished contact with one of my dear friends from college who happens to be a civil engineer with a very successful practice at Thiruvaroor. He visited our house and checked. His conclusion is also that the house has outlived its life and now it is a safety hazard. But the good news is, he with the help of an architect friend, is going to design the new house to recreate the feel of our current house.

This is the first letter Srinidhi ever received. It is from the First Couple. We are very proud of it.

Srinidhi's classmate Adharsh is his newest friend. Aditi is also in the same class. Here Adharsh's dad Raja is playing with Adharsh, Srinidhi and Aditi.

It is next to impossible to make three two year olds to pose together for a picture, especially when they are happily playing.

Last week we started preparing the 'baby' room for the next one. That is the crib room, the room that used to be Srinidhi's. Srinidhi was happy to accept our other bedroom as his new room. We still need to paint/decorate his new room.

We sorted through Srinidhi's old dresses that we boxed earlier to see what can be used for the next one and what we need to put away. It brought back lot of memory. Can't believe how many dresses we bought for Srinidhi! Babys-R-Us must have made few grands off us.

Veena very particularly remembered most of the details, when we bought it or who gave it as a gift, when Srinidhi wore it first or other interesting stories. Some of those, I do not remember him wearing at all.

We found several that we will reuse, especially for the first 3 months. Brought us a smile thinking Srinidhi wore those funny dresses. Now his taste is totally stripes or plain with few exceptions (Thomas, Spiderman). We separated 3 to 6 months dresses and 6 month to 1 year dresses. We are going to wait and see if our taste will allow us to use those :-)
