Srinidhi had lot of hair as a new born and it kept growing. Srinidhi is one year old in this picture. It was taken Apr 24, 2004. Right after this we went to India and had his first Mottai (ceremoneal shaving of head).

Veena and Amma at Vazhiyooran Temple.

Sri Vazhiyooran, our KulaTheivam (Family Deity). The Temple is at Thiyanapuram, three miles from Thiruvaroor. This photo was taken during May 2004, when we took Srinidhi there for his first Mottai.

Periyanayagi Amman in Thyanapuram is our Kula Deivam. She is very powerful.
Today in my dream pechiyamman came., I cried in the dream and put sastanga namaskaram to her. Something she want to convey to me., so decided to go to temple next week.

Saaaannnn And Neeeenaaaa

We taught him Shan and Appa are same same (se se, in his language) and Veena and Amma are same same. Thats it. He started calling me 'Saaaaannnn' Saaaannnnnn Saaaannnnn', I have to acknowledge, or else :)

He calls 'Neeeeenaaaa', not as much as 'Saaaaannnnn'.
